Pur Merlot de France
Vin de France

Through this blend of several vintages, you will discover all the aromatic richness of the Merlot, and its capacity to produce fruity, supple, and fleshy wines.

Our family has been farming Merlot since 1826 in the region once called « The Great Coasts ». Today, our « old » Merlots are used to create this wine which reveals all the richness of this grape variety. Thanks to the mild and temperate climate of our South West region, the merlot is developping pleasant fruity and spicy aromas. The natural fermentation, the traditional aging process in our centenarian cellar and the blending of several vintages guarantee its finest expression.

Tasting

A pretty ruby red and shiny color. An expressive nose reveals fruity aromas (blackberry, redcurrant) which are, on the palate, harmoniously blended with spicy and vanilla nuances. This wine is fleshy, with supple tanins and a pleasant length.
